A Time to Remember and Gather us Together once again.
Since 1989 it has been our privilege to serve patients and their families within the local community. In the month of December we will remember all those we have cared for through our Tree of Life Ceremonies.
We are delighted that we are able to invite you to gather with us in December at either hospice for our Tree Lighting Ceremonies this year. Our Tree of Life Ceremonies will be held in Blanchardstown Hospice on 7th December 8.00pm and Raheny Hospice on 14th of December at 7.30pm.
So, please gather your family and friends to join us to remember those that we have cared for and all those that we have lost.
CEREMONY: This remembrance ceremony will be led by one of our Chaplains, who will be joined by staff, volunteers and supporters of the Hospice. We will have reflections, prayers and carols as we remember those we have lost or for whom we care. During the ceremony the lights of the Hospice Christmas Trees will be turned on as we remember all those we have cared for both past and present and for all those we have lost.
LIGHT SPONSORSHIP: The Hospice Christmas Tree has hundreds of lights and these lights can be sponsored €6 per light, before and after the ceremony, in memory of a loved one or for somebody experiencing difficulty in their lives. A Tree of Life Card is also available with each light purchased. This card can be sent to a relative or friend telling them that they are remembered. Lights may also be purchased online on our virtual Christmas Tree up until 31st December on www.sfh.ie.
