Health and Social Care Professional Tutor/ Lecturer
St. Francis Hospice Dublin provides a comprehensive range of palliative care services for patients and their families living in North Dublin City and County. We are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and to supporting the development of our workforce through education, innovation and collaboration.
The Health and Social Care Professional Tutor will design, deliver and evaluate high-quality education and training programmes for Health and Social Care Professionals and multidisciplinary staff within St. Francis Hospice Dublin and externally.
The successful candidate will bring discipline-specific expertise and a strong commitment to education, contributing to the development of evidence-based, person-centred palliative care education across a range of delivery modes, including face-to-face, outreach and digital learning.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to organisational and national education priorities, supporting the ongoing development of specialist palliative care services.
The person must..
- Be educated to Level 9 as per NQI (2003).
- Be CORU registered as a Health and Social Care Professional within a relevant discipline (e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics, Social Work or other CORU regulated profession).
- Have a minimum of three years post-qualification clinical experience, including experience in Specialist Palliative Care
- Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering and evaluating education and training programmes using a variety of teaching methods and delivery modes.
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency in relevant IT systems including MS Office, eLearning platforms and virtual learning tools
- Full driving license
- Have evidence of continuing professional development.
