Maintenance Foreman – Charge Hand

Salary Scale : 44,703 - 51,483

St. Francis Hospice Dublin provides a comprehensive range of palliative care services for patients and their families living in North Dublin City and County.

The Charge Hand will play a key role in supporting and collaborating with the General Services team to contribute to the long-term development of general services within St. Francis Hospice Dublin.

 

The person must…

  • Hold a third level qualification to a minimum standard of Higher Certificate (Quality and Qualifications Ireland Level 6), in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Services.

Or

  • Possess a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 6 (or higher) Advanced Certificate Craft Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent qualification)
  • Possess the National Craft Certificate issued by FETAC
  • Possess the Senior Trades Certificate issued by the Department of Education
  • Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification / apprenticeship experience in maintenance of industrial, commercial and domestic type buildings. Ability to operate across all disciplines of maintenance at trade level demonstrating a good technical knowledge of all engineering and building services within the Hospice environment.
  • Have a Full driving license.
