Our Strategy
St. Francis Hospice Dublin (SFHD) published a five-year strategic plan in October 2025. The document and its implementation plan will guide our strategic direction and priorities to enable us to provide high quality specialist palliative care for our patients and families in our catchment area, while developing and enhancing our services.
The hospice’s strategy is underpinned by:
- Its service level agreement as a Section 38 Agency under the Health Act 2004
- Alignment to National Health Strategy / Sláintecare.
- Palliative Care Development Framework.
- Review of the 2024 National Adult Palliative Care Policy.
- All Ireland Institute for Hospice & Palliative Care (AIIHPC) Strategic Plan.
- Emerging Compliance and Governance Framework.
