Courses/Workshops Details 2010-2011 (currently being updated)
The St. Francis Hospice Centre for Continuing Studies is a state-of-the-art education centre, officially opened in July 2002 by President Mary McAleese.
Throughout the academic year, September to June, we offer a variety of courses, workshops and study days for all disciplines as well as the general public. You can download an application form here.
Education and research are core components of any Hospice or Palliative Care service. St. Francis Hospice is committed to continuing education for Hospice employees and for other health care workers in the community, to ensure the delivery of good quality patient and family care. We are also committed to research related to palliative care, and our Research Ethics Committee welcomes applications from those wishing to pursue research projects involving the hospice
