On Wednesday 1st April 2020, our Chaplaincy and Communications teams came together to live stream a reflection on the St Francis Hopsice Dublin Facebook page. This was in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, and our aim was to provide a few moments of calm for people in the midst of the worry and constantly changing landscape caused by the pandemic. We felt it was especially important to maintain links between the hospice and our community of patients, their families, our staff, volunteers and supporters. We were overwhelmed by the number of views that reflection registered, and the wonderful feedback from some of those viewers. We continued our weekly reflections for 15 months, and now that restrictions are easing, we will take a for the summer months. Thank you to everyone who has viewed our reflections and been with us in spirit, as we reamined #TogetherApart.
