Dad, who loved the hospice for all the amazing love , care , patience , attention to detail he received as a day patient , for respite , and for his final days. Every detail was looked after, so much so that he wondered in his last hours what the hospice was going to do about the fact that Dublin were playing on Sunday and yet it seemed he might pass before that!!! He was so peaceful, it was such a gift. He deserved it all , a wonderful father and husband , le grá Dad x take care of my baby for me

Dear mam, miss you lots, if there is any consolation it is that you have no more pain and anguish. You spent 15 months away from dad, but now you are with your beloved Liam forever. Thanks for the memories, they often bring a wide smile to my face. Until we meet again. xoxo

It is coming up on my Nana's 19 year anniversary. I was very young when she died but I remember the amazing care the hospice provided her and how patient they were with all her family around her especially the small ones like me. Because of the #nomakeupselfie campaign on currently running on Facebook I have decided to donate my money to the St. Francis Hospice as it is such a great support for families in North Dublin.

You gave so much love, friendship and joy to your family and friends. You battled bravely for so long with illness, to be with us for just a while longer. We will never ever forget your love and kindness and all that you have given us in life. You will be loved for evermore.
