Senior Medical Social Worker – Permanent

St. Francis Hospice Dublin provides a comprehensive range of palliative care services for patients and their families living in North Dublin City and County.

We’re looking for

Senior Medical Social Worker
35 hours per week
Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative team. The purpose of this post is to provide psychosocial support to patients and their families within a multi-disciplinary team.

Essential requirements:
• Have attained the N.Q.S.W. or equivalent.
• Be registered as a Social Worker with CORU.
• Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
• Bereavement and counselling skills are essential.
• Be computer literate in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Full clean driving license.

Desirable Requirements:
• Experience in palliative care, oncology, medical social work or mental health is desirable.
