The person must…
• Be registered in the General Nursing division with NMBI.
• Have at least 5 years post registration experience with a minimum of 2 years working in
this area.
• Be educated to Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) Palliative care.
• Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the
functions of the role.
• Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
• Possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and
clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the
role.
