The person must…
• Be fully registered in the General Nursing division with NMBI
• Have at least 2 years post registration experience with a minimum of 1 year working in this
area.
• Have Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) Palliative care, desirable.
• Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the
functions of the role.
• Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
• Possess the requisite knowledge and ability including a high standard of suitability and
clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the
role
