Hospice Car Draw T&Cs




The St. Francis Hospice Car Draw is held on an Annual basis to raise funds for patient care in St. Francis Hospice Dublin.


St. Francis Hospice:  The promoter of the draw is St. Francis Hospice Dublin, Dublin 15, D15 DE 98 ("SFH") under license granted by Dublin District Court on 10th February 2023 and valid until 10 March 2024.  For all queries related to the draw, please contact Dee Kinane at St Francis Hospice Dublin.  By entering the draw all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other conditions in the messaging or promotions of this draw (which may be amended at any time by SFH). Any entries not complying with these terms and conditions will not be valid.


The Prize(s):


  • First Prize – Toyota Yaris Platinum Hybrid


  • Second Prize – €2,000 cash


  • Third Prize – €1,000 cash


  • Fourth Prize – €200 Blanchardstown Centre Voucher


  • Fifth Prize – €200 Blanchardstown Centre Voucher


  • Sixth Prize – €200 Blanchardstown Centre Voucher


  • Seventh Prize – €200 Blanchardstown Centre Voucher


  • Eighth Prize – €200 Blanchardstown Centre Voucher


First Prize:

  • The prize for 1 winner is a [Toyota Yaris Platinum Hybrid] based on available colour and no alternatives colours will be offered. The model is selected by [Toyota] and is based off the entry model.
  • The winner must make their own way to the vehicle collection point, location, date and time as advised by SFH (any associated costs incurred are the sole responsibility of the winner).
  • The winner must hold a valid driving licence and will be required to provide evidence of this prior to handover of the car, or must be accompanied by someone who holds a valid licence (and can show proof of same) and who will assume responsibility for transporting the car to the winner’s home.
  • The insurance, tax, maintenance and running costs of the car will be the responsibility of the winner from the time of collection of the car. The winner will be required to show evidence of tax and insurance prior to handover of the car.
  • SFH will not engage in negotiations with the supplier of the car on behalf of the winner.


Blanchardstown Shopping Centre:

  • Multi Retail Management Ireland Limited] as manager of the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre has sponsored vouchers to be spent at the Shopping Centre.  It is providing administrative support to St. Francis Hospice in connection with the draw.  It is not responsible for the promotion of the draw and, to the extent permitted by law, has no liability to entrants and/or winners.  For all queries related to the draw, please contact 01 -8327535/01-8294000 at St Francis Hospice Dublin.
  • Vouchers must be claimed within one year of the draw date (specified below).


How to Enter:


  • The draw will take place on the 25th January 2024
  • All competition entries must be received by SFH no later than the 21sth January 2024. Any tickets received after this date will be disqualified.
  • Tickets cost €10 each.
  • To enter the draw:
  • Purchase a ticket from at St. Francis Hospice Dublin, Raheny 01-8327535 or Blanchardstown 01-8294000
  •  Purchase a ticket using the QR Codes at Blanchardstown Shopping Centre
  •  Enter the competition online at www.sfh.ie 


  • On purchase of a ticket for the draw, all purchasers of tickets are automatically entered. Each ticket purchased has a unique code printed on it and entitles the purchaser to register one entry into the draw. You must retain your ticket as proof of purchase.
  • Entrants must fill out all details requested to facilitate contact should they be drawn as a prize winner. By entering the draw, the entrant confirms their agreement to take part in any associated publicity relating to the Draw, if invited to participate by SFH.
  • Only one name is permitted on the entry form and the prize will be allocated to the person named on the entry form. Incomplete or illegible entries will not be accepted. Entry forms on which more than one person’s name appears will not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified.
  • SFH accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost or not returned by the seller.




  • The draw is open to all residents of Ireland aged 18 or over as at the date of entry except direct employees and trustees of St. Francis Hospice Dublin[ or Multi Retail Management Ireland Limited].
  • SFH reserves the right to reject any entry (and award the prize to an alternative winner) if it has grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions, acted fraudulently or illegally, or on other reasonable grounds and shall have no liability to an entrant for any loss or damage arising from such rejection
  • SFH reserves the right, in the event of circumstances beyond its control, to cancel, postpone, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this draw at any time with no liability to any entrant or any third party. If due to unavailability of a particular prize, beyond SFH’s control, SFH and sponsor reserves the right to substitute a particular prize for another prize of similar value.
  • In order to claim the prize, the winner will be required to sign any documentation as may be requested by SFH relating to acceptance of the competition prize, terms and conditions and including, but not limited to, waiver of liability release in favour of SFH and such other persons as may be determined by SFH.



Winner Selection:


  • The draw will be overseen by two independent scrutineers.
  • The first ticket drawn will be for the first prize, [the Toyota Yaris Platinum Hybrid], and will continue in that order until all eight prizes winners are selected. The Draw will be held at the Blanchardstown Centre using a Draw Drum with all ticket stub entries contained in the Draw Drum. The Draw Drum and the overall Draw will be checked and supervised by an independent body.
  • SFH accepts no responsibility or liability to any winner for any dissatisfaction with their respective prize.
  • No prizes are transferable. No alternative prizes will be offered to winners and prizes are not redeemable for cash.
  • SFH reserves the right to request proof of age, verifiable by birth cert or passport only, and proof of residency, verifiable by recent utility bill only (issued within 6 months of win).
  • The winners will be contacted by telephone or email. In the event that we cannot contact the winner within 28 days after the draw, the prize(s) will be awarded to new winner(s) by draw.
  • Your Information:


  • The information, including personal data, which you submit to enter the Draw, will be used by SFH to run the draw.   •  Law and Courts: The terms and conditions herein are governed by Irish Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.  These terms and conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
