This course is designed as a follow-on course for those who have already completed an 8-week MBSR or MBCT training. This 8-week online course is open to clinical staff, non-clinical staff, volunteers and members of the wider community. Evidence shows that training in compassion is good for our physical and emotional health and it also helps us to have healthier relationships with ourselves and others. MBCL is based on extensive scientific work by researchers including Paul Gilbert, Kristin Neff and Barbara Fredrickson.

This ticket includes 8 online sessions, a full day guided retreat in person. A course handbook & recordings of guided meditations. Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the full day guided retreat on Tuesday 25th November 2025 from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. The intensive nature of this day is intended to assist participants in firmly and effectively establishing the use of MBCL skills across multiple situations in their life, while simultaneously preparing them to utilise these methods far beyond the conclusion of the program.
