Palliative Care week is 9th to 15th September 2018 and this year’s theme is "Palliative Care, Because Every Moment Matters".
The aim of Palliative Care week is to increase public understanding and encourage people to find out more about available services.
It is coordinated by the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC). #pallcareweek
This year also marks the centenary of the birth of Dame Cicely Saunders, a pioneer of the modern hospice movement.
