Yes, if it's your first time, but we encourage you to make this time just for you.

Will I see other patients?
Your treatment is one to one with your therapist. You are seen at your arranged appointment time. There is no queuing for appointments. You may meet someone in the waiting room but only occassionally.

What type of clothes should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing. For some therapies, you may remove some of your clothing. Your therapist can discuss this with you before the treatments.

No, unless organised by your Community Palliative Care Team.

You may see a member of the Community Palliative Care Team is previously arranged.

Does massage spread cancer?
No it doesn't. Gentle massage is similar to a person taking exercise.

Can I have a massage while on chemotherapy or radiation treatment?
Yes, however each person is assessed individually.
