Who are physiotherapists?
Physiotherapists are graduate healthcare professionals who are expert in the examination and treatment of a wide range of conditions that affect peoples’ abilities to move the way they want and function as well as they want in their daily lives. Each member of the team is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is bound by the codes of conduct of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.

Where can I access physiotherapy?
The physiotherapists work with patients in St. Anne’s In-Patient Unit, Hospice Day Care, and Walmer Villa Outpatient Clinic.

How can I access physiotherapy?
Staff members working in Hospice Day Care, Walmer Villa Outpatient Clinic, St. Anne's In-Patient Unit and the Community Palliative Care Team can request physiotherapy on your behalf.

How does physiotherapy fit into my overall care?
Our expert team works closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team in order to co-ordinate patient care in a safe and effective manner. We have strong links with our colleagues in hospital and community settings and together will ensure the seamless delivery of high quality care.
