Illness can make it difficult to meet other people and to continue an active social life. Hospice Day Care offers a place to meet other people in similar situations whilst being cared for by a skilled interdisciplinary team. Together we can develop a programme of care to meet your individual needs.
It is an opportunity to make new friends and participate in the many activities on offer. Through the support of the interdisciplinary team, we hope to help and support you and your family in coping with your illness and all this entails. Support is offered to families through telephone contact and families are often invited into Hospice Day Care to meet the team.
St. Francis Hospice Day Care staff is committed to providing a caring and supportive environment for you and your loved ones. We would be happy to receive suggestions on any aspect of your care while attending Hospice Day Care, we would also appreciate your comments.
